Building a solid foundation!
JFO Mission:
Strengthen the Home…Build the Community…
Here at JFO we strengthen the home and build the community by teaching both practical and spiritual truths.
JFO Vision:
To see individuals and families reconciled to God, restored where they had been broken, and rehabilitated all the way to wholeness. Walking through the process with them provides support they need to develop healthier relationships and enables them to help lead others into a healthier way of living.
Virtuous Women Ministry
Are you a woman who desires a safe, confidential community of god-fearing women?
Are you a woman who desires to be the best she can be?
Are you a woman who is interested in knowing what it means to be virtuous?
VWM is for god-fearing women who desire to grow. Small accountability groups are established to create a safe environment where confidential confessions, corrections, and instructions are shared.
This is not for the faint of heart! It is for those willing to get on the Potter’s wheel so the Master can create the vessel He desires.
The older women who have allowed the Master to create His design for them are those who walk beside the younger ones, offering support and encouragement along the Way.

Face-to-Face
Do your relationship troubles seem to be the fault of the other person?
Do your conversations seem to end up in conflict?
Do you feel that other people try to control or manipulate you?
Each video starts out with a skit, demonstrating everyday issues in any given relationship. Afterwards, the scene shifts to an office space where Dr. Teri and her Co-host, Bobbye Jo, point out those issues and discuss some specific tips that could help create healthier relationships.
Typically, people relate in a way that is familiar (second nature) to them. The tendency is to blame issues on whomever they are trying to relate to. Truth be known, relationship issues typically stem from a lack of boundaries, poor communication skills, lack of knowledge about healthy parenting practices, or a lack of time & financial management skills. Therefore, the skits are created in such a way that viewers can identify — and hopefully decide to take a workshop or at least get some kind of help.
Workshops
Boundaries, Communication, Parenting 101, and Time & Financial Management represent four categories necessary for developing healthy relationships.
Personal and relational issues typically stem from a lack of one or more basic skill categories.
An all day workshop could potentially save individuals or families hours of counseling…not to mention the pain of an ongoing issue that robs them of joy and peace.
The workshops are designed to teach individuals and families how to use valuable tips and tools for building healthy, functional lives. Each workshop intertwines with the others. For example, it is not enough to know when to set a boundary it is also important to know how to communicate it.
The way people relate to one another is typically learned while growing up, from family, friends and neighbors'. The good news is, if you have learned the wrong way you can learn a healthier way.
Check out the skills taught in each of the four workshops so you can experience health and wholeness as an individual and in your relationships.
